What we're listening to. Sinatra 'A Jolly Christmas'.

Listen, we don't offer this up voluntarily....but just that we're asked. And asked and asked......plus it was on in the Office all this week.

"Have you a good Christmas Album idea?" alright then, this is it.

1957, Sinatra (he was 42) and more notably, Nelson Riddle and a full Orchestra.
A Jolly Christmas.

It was re-released in 1963 called 'The Sinatra Christmas Album' with another cover, in case you're thinking of getting both.....don't. One's enough.

It's the sort of record that's a bit different to have on in the background but as these records go, it is definitely, as good as you get. Sinatra always adds a bit of class.

Yes, they are all here from 'Jingle Bells' to 'Silent Night'. What else can you say expect it's well, 'Christmassy'. But you know, you'll need an Album this year, so try this. At least you'll seem, eh, respectable.

We know for a fact too, this will be our biggest read Blog of the year. Betcha.

Next week - Album of the Year. And it's not Lorde. It's not even Kendrick...

That all aside, we're definitely getting in the mood because deadlines aside, there's something magical about it all. Magnificent really and may we wish you all a very, very Happy Christmas.....thank you very much for reading.

Now here you go. This'll put you in the mood.

'Nancy and Dutch' whom he refers to at the start are of course, The Reagans. Good old Franko.
